This is our standard, everyday car option. These vehicles are clean, well-maintained and affordable. Designed for daily commuters who need a reliable ride from home to work, to the market, or across town. Seats up to three passengers comfortably plus a driver.

For business travellers, airport transfers or special occasions, our luxury class offers premium sedans with leather interiors, extra legroom, and a higher standard of comfort. These vehicles are newer models with air conditioning and a quiet, smooth ride. Seats up to three passengers.

When you are traveling with a group or carrying luggage, the XL class is your answer. These are larger vehicles - typically SUVs or minivans that can accommodate up to six passengers or more. Ideal for families, small groups of colleagues, or travellers heading to the airport with multiple bags.

Comfort class sits between Economy and Luxury. These vehicles offer extra legroom, good air conditioning, and newer models than Economy, but they are not as expensive as Luxury. This is the right choice for a longer journey across the city or to a neighbouring suburb where you want a pleasant ride without paying premium prices. Seats up to three passengers.

These are the standard, reliable motorcycles that dominate African cities today. They run on petrol (gasoline), are easy to maintain, and are available now across all our operating countries. Every fuel motorcycle on BaraBara has passed a safety inspection, and the driver has completed our mandatory safety training. Passengers ride behind the driver and are provided with a clean helmet.

BaraBara is piloting 500 electric motorcycles with swappable batteries in Kinshasa. These motorcycles are silent, produce zero tailpipe emissions and cost significantly less per kilometre to operate than fuel motorcycles. For passengers, the ride is smoother and quieter. Electric motorcycles will be rolled out to other cities in 2027 and 2028.
